Description

The Festool Splinter Guard SP-PS/PSB 300/5 (part no. 490120) is a clear, zero-clearance insert that sits in the base of a Festool jigsaw and closes the gap around the blade. On the first cut the blade slices its own slot, so the guard backs up the wood fibres right at the cut line and all but eliminates top-surface splintering and tear-out.

Use it whenever a clean show face matters — cutting veneered panels, melamine, laminate, plywood and finished boards. The guards are consumable: once a slot widens, drop in a fresh one. This pack contains five.
