Edge Eyewear — ANSI Z87.1+ Safety Glasses for Industrial Shops

Edge Eyewear logo

Calgary-stocked Edge safety eyewear. Shipped across Canada.

Edge Eyewear builds safety glasses to the ANSI Z87.1+ high-impact standard, and many models also carry CSA Z94.3 and MIL-PRF-32432 ballistic ratings — at prices built for industrial shop programs rather than boutique procurement. IBEX Enterprises stocks Edge’s most-used shop-floor models in clear, smoke, amber, mirror, and anti-fog lenses, and can source polarized and IR-rated options on request. Add Edge eyewear to any abrasive or tool order to consolidate your PPE into one shipment.

Why shop PPE programs use Edge

ANSI Z87.1+ high-impact rated. Edge’s industrial line meets the ANSI Z87.1+ high-impact rating that provincial OHS and CSA Z94.3 frameworks call for in industrial work environments. Several models also meet the MIL-PRF-32432 ballistic standard for higher-impact tasks like grinding, machining, and demolition — check the marking on the specific model.

Lens options for every shop environment. Edge offers a full lens range; we stock the most common tints and can source the rest:

  • Clear — general shop, indoor work, dust environments
  • Smoke / mirror — outdoor work and low-glare shop environments
  • Amber / copper — low-light indoor work and variable outdoor light
  • Vapor Shield anti-fog — body-heat and temperature-differential fog
  • IR welding shades and polarized lenses — available to order

Crew-friendly pricing. Edge delivers ANSI Z87.1+ certification at a fraction of premium-brand pricing — a meaningful saving when you’re outfitting a whole crew at the start of a fiscal year.

Models we stock

All models below are ANSI Z87.1+ high-impact rated; CSA Z94.3 and ballistic ratings vary by model and lens — ask us to confirm for a specific SKU.

Common buyer questions

What does the “+” in ANSI Z87.1+ mean?

The “+” means the lens has passed a high-velocity impact test (250 ft/s). All Edge models we stock are Z87.1+ high-impact rated — the version industrial shops should spec.

Are Edge glasses CSA-compliant for Canadian shops?

Many Edge models carry CSA Z94.3 in addition to ANSI Z87.1+. Ratings are marked on the frame; tell us the model you need and we’ll confirm.
