Description

The Festool SP-TS 55/5 Splinter Guard (Part Number: 491473) is designed to deliver clean, splinter-free cuts on the right side of the blade when used with Festool TS 55 EQ and TS 75 EQ plunge-cut saws. This pack includes five replacement splinter guards, ensuring consistent cutting quality and reducing material waste.​

By creating a zero-clearance insert adjacent to the blade, the splinter guard minimizes tear-out on the workpiece, especially beneficial when working with delicate or veneered materials. For optimal results, it’s recommended to replace the splinter guard when changing to blades with different kerf widths.​

These splinter guards are compatible with the TS 55 EQ and TS 75 EQ models and can be used with or without a guide rail. Note: They are not compatible with newer models such as the TS 55 REQ, TS 55 F, or TSC 55; for these models, refer to part number 499011.
