Description

The Festool 494938 is a 300-pack of pre-cut solid beech DOMINO tenons measuring 5 × 19 × 30 mm, used as loose (floating) tenons with the Festool DOMINO DF 500 joiner. Each tenon drops into a matching mortise cut by a 5 mm DOMINO cutter to form a fast, self-aligning glue joint that is far stronger than dowels or biscuits.

Cabinetmakers, furniture builders and finish carpenters reach for the 5 mm size on face frames, drawer boxes, small casework and panel glue-ups. Every tenon is embossed with glue pockets and runs about 2 mm short of nominal length to leave room for adhesive, while its flat, elongated shape resists rotation for accurate edge- and face-gluing.
