Description

The Festool 493297 is a 1,140-piece box of pre-cut solid beech DOMINO tenons measuring 6 × 20 × 40 mm, used as loose (floating) tenons with the Festool DOMINO DF 500 joiner. Each tenon seats into a matching mortise cut by a 6 mm DOMINO cutter to create a strong, self-aligning glue joint that outperforms dowels and biscuits.

The 6 mm size is the workhorse for general cabinetmaking, furniture, doors, face frames and casework. Tenons are embossed with glue pockets and sit about 2 mm short of nominal length to hold adhesive, and the flat, non-rotating profile keeps parts perfectly aligned for edge- and face-gluing. The bulk 1,140-count box suits production shops.
