Sia 0785.1011.0320 Siaflex 9 x 11 Inch Sheets, 320 Grit
The Sia 0785.1011.0320 is a 9 x 11 inch sanding sheet from the Sia 1948 siaflex line in 320 grit, sold 50 sheets per pack. It is a flexible, all-round abrasive for hand sanding, with aluminum oxide grain on a latex paper backing that works wet or dry.

- Grit: 320, a very fine grit for keying and between-coat sanding

- Coating: open coat with a stearate top coat to reduce clogging

Where 320 Grit Fits
Use 320 grit for keying old and new lacquer, sanding between coats and fine sanding primer before topcoat. It is a common final grit before paint on many refinishing jobs. Use 320 after 240 or 280, and move to 400 or 600 for finer keying.
Who Uses It
Sia lists the 1948 siaflex line for automotive refinishing, aerospace finishing and interior building work. Typical materials include body filler, primer filler, paints and lacquers, GRP and composites, plastics, aluminum, steel and solid wood. Body shops, cabinet and furniture makers, painters and maintenance crews keep the Sia 0785.1011.0320 on hand for repairs, touch-ups and detail areas a machine cannot reach. Sia does not recommend this line for glass or stone.
Tips for Hand Sanding
Fold or cut the 9 x 11 sheet to fit your block or hand pad, and keep the block flat on panels so edges do not round over. Use light, even pressure and let the abrasive cut. When wet sanding, keep the surface and sheet wet and rinse often to clear the slurry. Wipe the surface clean between grits so loose particles from a coarser step do not leave stray scratches.
