Sia 3886.3796.0320 Siaspeed 1950 5 Inch Disc, 320 Grit
The Sia 3886.3796.0320 is a box of 100 Sia 1950 siaspeed 5 inch (125 mm) hook and loop sanding discs in 320 grit, with a Festool-compatible multi-hole pattern. At 320 grit it is suited to final smoothing of primer, filler and lacquer coats before the topcoat.

Where It Fits
320 grit is a fine grit for the last steps before painting or polishing. In a typical sequence you would come from 220 grit. The multi-hole pattern lines up with Festool sanding pads and other multi-hole pads, so dust is pulled through the disc into the extractor. Good extraction keeps the disc cutting longer and leaves a cleaner surface.
Who Uses It
Cabinet and furniture shops, finishing departments, auto body and refinish shops and renovators use siaspeed discs on random orbital sanders for wood, primer, filler, lacquer and solid surface material.
Sanding Tips
Let the sander do the work and keep pressure light, so the disc stays flat and the grain cuts instead of polishing. Do not skip more than one grit step, and vacuum the surface between grits so loose grit from a coarser step does not scratch the finer one. Change the Sia 3886.3796.0320 as soon as it stops cutting cleanly, and store the box flat in a dry place so the discs do not curl.
