Sia 6256.1639.0100 1950 Siaspeed 6 Inch PSA Discs, 100 Grit

The Sia 6256.1639.0100 is a Linkroll of 100 Sia 1950 siaspeed 6 inch PSA sanding discs in 100 grit. Pressure-sensitive adhesive holds each disc firmly on a PSA pad, and the roll format lets you peel off a fresh disc in seconds.

Where It Fits

Sia lists the 1950 siaspeed line for sanding and feathering fillers, primers, paint, varnish and gelcoat, and for matting old finishes. It also works on composites, polyester, plastics, mineral materials and wood. Use these discs on a 6 inch PSA pad on a random orbital or dual action sander. Sia rates 1950 siaspeed for dry sanding only, so do not use it wet.

Tips for Sanding

Step through the grits without skipping more than one grade, so each grit removes the scratches from the last. Keep the pad flat and pressure light, and use dust extraction where your sander allows it. Change the disc as soon as it loads or stops cutting. Press each disc on firmly and centred, and peel it off the pad when you are done. Store the roll in a cool, dry place, because heat and humidity weaken the adhesive.
