The Festool 493491 is the Festool DOMINO cutter D 6-NL 28 HW-DF 500, a 6 mm carbide-tipped cutter for the Festool DOMINO DF 500 joining machine. It cuts the mortise for 6 mm DOMINO tenons, so loose-tenon joints line up and go together the same way every time. It is a precise cutter made for lighter and more detailed work: small cabinet doors, drawer parts, narrow rails, picture frames and box joinery.
