The Festool 497132 is a box of 10 Festool Granat STF DELTA/7 P80 abrasive sheets for Festool delta sanders. The triangular 100 x 150 mm (about 4 x 6 inch) sheets attach with StickFix hook and loop, and the 7-hole pattern lines up with the sander’s dust extraction.

Where It Fits

Granat is Festool’s hard-wearing aluminum oxide abrasive, made to resist clogging on paint, filler, clear coat and bare wood. P80 is a coarse grit for fast stock removal and for stripping paint or finish in corners and along edges, where the delta shape reaches and a round pad cannot. After P80, step to P120 and then P150 or P180 before finishing.

Keep pressure light so the sheet stays flat and the tip does not dig in. Use the tip for corners, then rotate the sheet on the pad so all three points wear evenly. Connect the sander to a dust extractor to keep the sheet clear and the work area clean. Replace the sheet as soon as it stops cutting, and store sheets flat and dry.
