Description

The Festool 493493 is a 10 mm carbide-tipped DOMINO cutter (model D 10-NL 28 HW) for the Festool DF 500 DOMINO joiner. It routs the exact mortise that accepts 10 mm DOMINO tenons, so loose-tenon joints go together tight, square and repeatable every time.

Cutting 10 mm wide by 28 mm deep, it is the right bit for medium-stock furniture and cabinet work – face frames, carcases, table aprons and door rails. The carbide edges hold up to long production runs and to dense hardwoods that dull lesser steel quickly, and the cutter threads onto the DF 500 spindle for fast changes.
