Description

The Festool DOMINO Cutter D 12-NL 70 HW-DF 700 (part no. 497870) is a 12 mm carbide-tipped cutter that mills the precise mortises used by the DOMINO XL DF 700 joining system. It cuts the slot a 12 mm DOMINO beech tenon glues into, producing strong, self-aligning joints in furniture, cabinetry, doors and timber framing.

Spiral flutes clear chips cleanly for low tear-out, and the internally threaded shank lets you swap cutters on the DF 700 quickly. The tungsten-carbide (HW) tip holds its edge through roughly 5,000–14,000 joints depending on the material.
