Description

The Festool DOMINO Cutter D 14-NL 70 HW-DF 700 (part no. 497871) is a 14 mm carbide-tipped cutter that mills the mortises used by the DOMINO XL DF 700 joining system. It cuts the slot a 14 mm DOMINO beech tenon glues into — the largest tenon size for the DF 700 — for heavy, high-strength joints in doors, tables, beds and structural timber work.

Spiral flutes clear chips for clean, low-tear-out mortises, and the internally threaded shank makes cutter changes on the DF 700 fast. The tungsten-carbide (HW) tip lasts roughly 5,000–14,000 joints depending on the material.
