Lamello 186305 Cabineo 8/12 Starter Set

The Lamello 186305 is the Lamello Cabineo 8/12 starter set, a mixed kit of one-piece cabinet connectors for carcass and frame assembly. It includes 40 Cabineo 8 and 40 Cabineo 12 connectors, white cover caps and the ball-end hex bit, so you can try both sizes on real jobs before buying bulk boxes.

How It Installs

Cabineo connectors are installed from the face of the panel, so there is no edge drilling. The recess is machined with a CNC routine, including 3-axis and nesting machines, or with the Cabineo jig. The connector is seated in the recess, its pre-installed screw is lined up with the hole in the mating part, and the screw is tightened with the ball-end hex bit or key. The joint pulls tight with high clamping force and has no protruding parts.

Who Uses It

Cabinet shops, furniture makers and shopfitters use Cabineo for carcasses, built-ins, shelving and flat-pack furniture, especially when parts are already cut on a CNC router. The starter set is the low-cost way to test the system and set up a CNC routine before committing to a full box.

Tips

Run test joints in the same panel stock you plan to use and check the fit before production. Do not over-tighten the screw in soft panel material. Keep the hex bit from the Lamello 186305 with your assembly tools, and order cover caps in a colour that suits the panels.
