It is an aluminum oxide belt on a strong cloth backing, built for metalworking on stationary belt sanders. The tough backing gives the belt high edge stability and a long working life.

Where It Fits
The belt is made for stationary machines that take a 6 x 108 inch belt, such as long belt and contact belt sanders. Use 80 grit for deburring, removing discoloration and blending flaws. Follow with 100 or 120 grit.

Replace it when the cut slows or the belt glazes, and store belts in their box away from heat and damp so the cloth stays flat.
