Sia 4168.1707.0280 Siaspeed 1950 80 x 133 mm Sheet, 280 Grit
The Sia 4168.1707.0280 is a Siaspeed 1950 hook and loop sanding sheet in 280 grit, 80 x 133 mm with a 14-hole Festool pattern, sold 50 sheets per box. It is made to fit Festool RTS 400 and LS 130 sanders, and the hole pattern lines up with the pad for dust extraction. Sia uses an open coating from 220 to 600 grit to reduce clogging.

Where 280 Grit Fits
280 grit is a fine grit for sanding between coats, keying lacquer and primer filler, and fine sanding before topcoat. Work up through 180 and 220 first, then use 280 for the final passes. The same sheet is stocked in grits from 100 to 400, so you can run a full sequence on one sander.
Who Uses It
Cabinet and furniture shops, finishers, renovators and refinishers use Siaspeed sheets on wood, paint, primer, filler and composites, especially on edges, rails and narrow parts where a rectangular pad works better than a round one.
Tips for Longer Sheet Life
Keep pressure light and let the abrasive cut. Run the sander with dust extraction connected so the holes clear dust and the sheet stays cool. Vacuum the work between grits, and change the sheet as soon as it stops cutting cleanly. Store boxes flat in a dry place.
