Where 80 Grit Fits

Use it for shaping body filler, removing old paint and varnish and flatting uneven areas. Step to 120 or 150 grit next to take out the 80 grit scratch. The hook and loop back fits 6 inch random orbital and orbital sander pads, and the disc also works on a 6 inch hand block. A solid disc has no holes to line up, so it suits pads without extraction holes.

Tips for Better Results

Keep the pad flat and the pressure light, and let the abrasive cut. Do not skip more than one grit step, and wipe or vacuum the surface between grits so loose grit does not scratch the next stage. This disc is made for dry sanding only, so do not use it with water. Change the disc as soon as it stops cutting cleanly, and store boxes flat in a dry place so the paper stays flat.
