The Festool 205562 is the HW 160×1.8×20 TF52 L laminate/hpl saw blade from Festool, a 160 mm carbide-tipped blade with 52 teeth and a 20 mm bore. It is made for clean, chip-free cuts in hard coated materials in laminate, melamine, coated panels and solid surface materials. The thin kerf removes less material, which means less waste and less load on the saw motor.

Getting Clean Cuts
Keep the coated face where the teeth enter the material, support the panel fully so it cannot flex, and feed at an even rate so the edge stays chip-free. Use the guide rail splinter guard or a sacrificial backer where the saw allows it,. Keep the blade clean of resin and pitch, because build-up makes the teeth run hot and dull faster. Remove the battery or unplug the saw before changing blades. When the Festool 205562 starts to burn, wander or need more push than usual, it is time to have it sharpened or replaced.
