Festool 482107 FSV Guide Rail Connector

The Festool 482107 FSV connector joins two Festool FS/2 guide rails into one longer rail, so you can make long, straight cuts on full sheets, doors and countertops without buying an extra-long rail. It is made from steel and keeps both rails in line, so the combined length cuts as accurately as a single rail.

How It Works

• Slides into the rail. The connector fits the integrated T-slots on the underside of the guide rails.
• Locks with set screws. Tighten the set screws to pull the two rails together firmly.
• Use two for best results. Festool recommends two connectors per joint for maximum stiffness and alignment.
• Also fits MFS templates. The FSV connector works with Festool MFS multi-routing templates as well.

Setting Up a Joined Rail

Lay both rails on a flat surface with the ends butted tight. Slide the connector halfway into each rail, check the joint with a straightedge, then tighten the set screws. Check the splinter guard is continuous across the joint before the first cut. Once set, the joined rail can be lifted and moved as one piece.
