Lamello Cabineo 8 Cabinet Connectors

The Lamello Cabineo 8 is a one-piece cabinet connector with a pre-installed 8 mm screw, made for surface-machined CNC joinery. Each box holds 500 connectors (PN 186310). The connector sits in a pocket machined into the panel face, so there is no edge drilling and no dowel holes to line up. Cut the pocket, press in the connector, and the screw pulls the joint tight with a cordless drill.

Why Shops Choose This Connector

• No edge drilling. All machining is done on the panel face, so a whole cabinet can be processed flat in one setup.
• Fast assembly. The screw is already in the housing. Drive it into a 5 mm hole in the mating panel with the Cabineo bit and a standard cordless drill.
• Corner and centre joints. Works in corner joints from about 10 mm (3/8″) material and centre panel joints from 16 mm (5/8″).
• Works on any CNC. Simple 3-axis routers and nesting machines can cut the pocket. No special head or aggregate is needed.
• Clean finish. The collar can sit on the surface, be recessed flush, or be hidden under an optional cover cap.
• Take it apart again. Joints can be unscrewed, which makes it a good fit for cabinets that ship knocked down and go together on site.

Installing Cabineo 8 Connectors

Pockets are cut with a CNC routine or with Lamello’s own Cabineo jig. Press the connector into the pocket, line up the mating panel, and drive the screw. The joint pulls tight and square without clamps, and the connector can be installed in the shop or on the job site.
