The Sia 6783.7705.0120 is a 5 inch Siaspeed 1950 hook and loop sanding disc in 120 grit, sold 100 discs per box. Siaspeed 1950 is sia Abrasives’ all-round line for lacquer, hard and soft wood, primer filler, body filler, solid surface material and plastics. This 120 grit disc is suited to shaping filler, smoothing bare wood and sanding out the scratches left by 80 or 100.

Where 120 Grit Fits
120 is one of the most used grits in wood and body shops. It refines the scratch from 80 or 100 and prepares the surface for 150 or 180. Do not skip more than one grit at a time. Each step should fully remove the scratches from the step before, or they will show through the finish later.
Who Uses It
Automotive refinishers, cabinet and furniture shops, millwork shops and solid surface fabricators use the Sia 6783.7705.0120 on 5 inch random orbital sanders. It fits any 5 inch hook and loop pad. Because this disc has no holes, it suits sanders without through-pad extraction, or jobs where you want the full abrasive face in contact.
Tips for Better Results
Use light, even pressure and let the abrasive cut. Keep the pad flat to avoid rounding edges, and wipe or vacuum the surface between grits so loose grit does not leave stray scratches. A pencil guide coat across the surface shows when the previous scratch is gone. Replace the disc when it stops cutting evenly. Store boxes flat and dry.
