The Sia 7285.4325.0280 is a 1948 siaflex 6 inch (150 mm) hook and loop sanding disc in P280 grit, packed 100 discs to a box. Siaflex 1948 is Sia’s flexible all-round line for wet and dry sanding, and this very fine grit is a good choice for sanding primer filler and keying lacquer.

Where It Fits in the Grit Sequence

P280 removes P220 and P240 scratches in primer filler and smooths repaired areas before the final fine sanding step. The open coat resists clogging on primer and lacquer. Follow with P320 to P400 for keying before paint.

Tips for Best Results

Keep pressure light and let the abrasive cut, so the disc stays flat and the scratch stays even. Do not skip more than one grit step at a time. When wet sanding, keep the surface wet and wipe off the slurry often to check progress. Replace the disc as soon as it stops cutting cleanly, because a worn disc only polishes and builds heat. Store boxes flat in a dry place so the discs do not curl.
