VSM 113463 5 Inch Surface Conditioning Disc, Medium Grade

The VSM 113463 is a 5 inch medium grade surface conditioning disc with a hook and loop back, sold 10 discs per pack. It is made from a non-woven nylon web filled with aluminum oxide abrasive, for blending, deburring and cleaning on metal, composites and plastics.

How It Works

Tips for Best Results

Keep the disc moving and use light to moderate pressure; pushing hard wears the web quickly and can glaze the surface. Work at a shallow angle so the face of the disc does the work. Make sure the hook and loop pad is clean and in good shape, since a worn pad lets the disc slip or fly off. Wear eye and hand protection, and keep a spare disc on hand so you can swap as soon as the web wears thin.
