Edge DZ117-G2 Zorge G2 Safety Glasses – Black Frame, Silver Mirror Lenses

Description

Edge DZ117-G2 Zorge G2 Safety Glasses

The Edge DZ117-G2 is the Zorge G2 safety glasses with a gloss black frame and silver mirror lenses, made for protection and visual comfort in high-glare environments. A smoke base tint with a silver mirror coating lets only 13% of light through, which cuts brightness and eye strain in bright, reflective conditions.

• Temple tips: soft thermoplastic rubber (TPR) for a secure, comfortable fit
• Lens: silver mirror on a smoke base, 13% light transmission, anti-glare
• UV protection: yes

Choosing the Right Lens

A mirror lens on a dark base lets very little light through, so it suits the brightest conditions: open sun, snow, water, concrete and other reflective surfaces. It is too dark for indoor or low-light work, where a clear lens is the safer choice.

Who Uses It

The Edge DZ117-G2 suits outdoor construction, roadwork, yard and tank farm work, tactical use and any job in full sun or around snow, water and bright concrete. Many crews keep a mirror pair for summer and a clear pair for indoor work.

Care and Fit Tips

Keep a few spare pairs at the tool crib or job box so nobody works without eye protection. Clean the lenses with water and a soft cloth instead of a shirt sleeve, which drags grit across the surface. Retire a pair once the lens is scratched enough to blur detail or the frame loosens. Never use solvents or shop towels with grit on them, as they can damage lens coatings.
