The Festool 493723 is the STF-DELTA 100×150/7, a replacement delta-shaped sanding pad for precise sanding in corners and tight spaces. The triangular 100 x 150 mm pad reaches into inside corners, window reveals and detail areas where a round pad cannot go.

Fit the Festool 493723 when the hook face of your delta pad is worn or the tip has broken down from corner work. The tip of a delta pad takes the most wear, so a fresh pad restores a sharp point for inside corners.

Cabinet makers, furniture refinishers, painters and renovators use delta sanders for detail work after the main surfaces are done: drawer and cabinet corners, window frames, louvres, stair parts, raised panels and trim. A new pad keeps sheets flat and cutting evenly right into the corner.

Tips for Long Pad Life

Check the hook and loop face before each job. When the StickFix hooks wear down, discs start to shift or fly off and the scratch pattern suffers. Brush dust off the pad, store it flat and away from heat, and never run the sander without an abrasive fitted, because the hook face wears quickly against the work. Rotate delta sheets on the pad when one tip is worn, so all three points get used before you change the sheet.
