The Lamello 145301 is a pack of 80 Lamello Bisco P-14 aligning elements, plastic pieces that fit the Lamello P-System groove. They hold panels flush during dry assembly and glue-up, at a lower cost per joint than a full connector.

How It Works

Cut the P-System grooves with a Lamello Zeta P2 or a CNC machine, then press the Bisco elements into the grooves. Unlike form-locking connectors such as Clamex P or Tenso P, a Bisco element does not pull the joint together. It aligns the parts and adds shear strength. A common pattern is to place a Clamex P or Tenso P connector at every second position and fill the gaps with Bisco elements.

Who Uses It

Cabinet makers, furniture builders, store fitters and millwork shops use Bisco elements on partitions, tabletops, worktops and carcass panels, wherever the faces must line up flush. They are also handy for dry-fitting an assembly before final joining with Clamex P or Tenso P.

Tips for Clean Joints

Mark your groove positions on both parts from the same reference edge so the elements line up. Clear chips out of the grooves before you insert the elements. For glued joints, apply PVA in the groove, insert the element and close the joint promptly. Store the elements in their box, away from heat, so they stay clean and ready to use.
