Edge CV116 Viso Safety Glasses – Black Frame, Smoke Lenses

Description

Edge CV116 Viso Safety Glasses

The Edge CV116 is the Viso safety glasses with a black frame and smoke lenses, a durable, cost-effective choice for crews that work in bright light. The nylon composite frame is flexible yet secure for extended wear, and the wraparound design improves peripheral vision and side coverage.

Features and Specifications

• Model: Edge Viso, part CV116
• Frame: black, durable nylon composite, wraparound design
• Lens: smoke tint that reduces brightness and glare
• UV protection: blocks 99.9% of UVA, UVB and UVC
• Standard: ANSI Z87.1+
• Anti-fog: Vapor Shield anti-fog is offered on select Viso models

Choosing the Right Lens

A smoke lens lowers overall brightness without shifting colours, which makes it a good fit for outdoor work in direct sun and for bright, reflective settings. It is not the right choice for dim indoor areas or night work, where a clear lens lets in more light.

Who Uses It

The Edge CV116 is a common pick for construction sites, yard and loading dock work, landscaping, outdoor maintenance and warehouse staff who move between inside and outside. It is built for high-volume use, so it works well as a standard issue pair across a crew.

Care and Fit Tips

Keep a few spare pairs at the tool crib or job box so nobody works without eye protection. Clean the lenses with water and a soft cloth instead of a shirt sleeve, which drags grit across the surface. Retire a pair once the lens is scratched enough to blur detail or the frame loosens. Never use solvents or shop towels with grit on them, as they can damage lens coatings.
