Edge SKAP119 Kazbek Safety Glasses – Black Frame, Aqua Precision Red Mirror Lenses

Description

Edge SKAP119 Kazbek Safety Glasses

The Edge SKAP119 is the Kazbek safety glasses with a gloss black frame and Aqua Precision red mirror lenses, for users who want strong glare control with sharp, high-contrast vision. The Aqua Precision lens has anti-reflective ions infused into the lens itself instead of a traditional surface coating.

Features and Specifications

• Model: Edge Kazbek, part SKAP119
• Frame: gloss black nylon, lightweight and durable
• Temple tips: soft thermoplastic rubber (TPR) for a secure, no-slip fit
• Lens: Aqua Precision red mirror, 13% light transmission, anti-glare, high contrast
• UV protection: blocks 99.9% of UVA, UVB and UVC
• Standards: ANSI Z87.1+2010 and Military Ballistic MCEPS GL-PD 10-12

Choosing the Right Lens

A mirror lens on a dark base lets very little light through, so it suits the brightest conditions: open sun, snow, water, concrete and other reflective surfaces. It is too dark for indoor or low-light work, where a clear lens is the safer choice.

Who Uses It

The Edge SKAP119 is a good choice for outdoor construction, tactical and industrial users, equipment operators and anyone in bright light for most of the day who also wants good contrast on the job.

Care and Fit Tips

Rinse grit and dust off the lenses before wiping, then dry them with a soft, clean cloth. Store the glasses in a case or pouch, not loose in a toolbox or lens-down on a bench. Replace any pair with a cracked, pitted or badly scratched lens, or a frame that no longer holds its shape, since damage can reduce both clarity and impact protection. A clean, well-fitted pair is also more likely to stay on all shift.
