Features and Specifications

• Part: Edge XB138
• Frame: rubberized matte black nylon, resists wear
• Temple tips: soft thermoplastic rubber (TPR), non-slip
• Lens: smoke, 16% light transmission, true colour clarity
• UV protection: blocks 99.9% of UVA, UVB and UVC
• Standards: ANSI Z87.1+2010 and Military Ballistic MCEPS GL-PD 10-12

Choosing the Right Lens

A smoke lens lowers overall brightness without shifting colours, which makes it a good fit for outdoor work in direct sun and for bright, reflective settings. It is not the right choice for dim indoor areas or night work, where a clear lens lets in more light.

Who Uses It

Construction, tactical, industrial and outdoor crews use the Edge XB138 for long days in the sun. The rubberized frame finish and non-slip temple tips help it stay in place during active work.

Care and Fit Tips

Rinse grit and dust off the lenses before wiping, then dry them with a soft, clean cloth. Store the glasses in a case or pouch, not loose in a toolbox or lens-down on a bench. Replace any pair with a cracked, pitted or badly scratched lens, or a frame that no longer holds its shape, since damage can reduce both clarity and impact protection. A clean, well-fitted pair is also more likely to stay on all shift.
