Edge XB138 Safety Glasses – Brazeau Torque, Black/Red Frame, Blue Mirror Lenses

Description

Edge XB138 Brazeau Torque Safety Glasses

The Edge XB138 is the Brazeau Torque safety glass with a black and red frame and blue mirror lenses. The mirror coating cuts glare and bright sunlight, which makes it a solid pick for outdoor work and bright, reflective job sites.

Features and Specifications

• Part: Edge XB138
• Model: Brazeau Torque
• Frame: black and red
• Lens: blue mirror, polycarbonate, scratch-resistant coating
• UV protection: blocks 99.9% of UVA, UVB and UVC
• Standards: ANSI Z87.1+ and Military Ballistic MCEPS GL-PD 10-12

Choosing the Right Lens

A mirror lens reflects part of the incoming light before it reaches your eyes, so it suits outdoor work in direct sun and bright, reflective settings. It is not the right choice for dim indoor areas or night work, where a clear lens lets in more light.

Who Uses It

Construction, industrial and outdoor crews use the Edge XB138 for long days in the sun.

Care and Fit Tips

Rinse grit and dust off the lenses before wiping, then dry them with a soft, clean cloth. Store the glasses in a case or pouch, not loose in a toolbox or lens-down on a bench. Replace any pair with a cracked, pitted or badly scratched lens, or a frame that no longer holds its shape, since damage can reduce both clarity and impact protection. A clean, well-fitted pair is also more likely to stay on all shift.
